Ingredients
- 2 cups rice
- 3 cups boiling water
- 3 Dorot fried onion cubes
- 3 cubes Dorot Italian herbs
- 1 level teaspoon salt
- A bit of black pepper
- 300 grams chicken breast/pullet, chopped into small cubes
- 2 cups frozen/preserved vegetables (peas/carrots/corn or the vegetable of your choice)
- 2 tablespoonfuls olive oil
Instructions
- Heat two table spoons of oil in a pot on medium flame, and add the chicken cubes.
- Lightly sauté for about 2 minutes.
- Add 2 cups of rice, Dorot fried onion cubes, and Dorot Italian herb mix cubes, and continue to sauté for another minute.
- Add the vegetables, boiling water, salt, and pepper.
- Cover immediately, lower the flame, and set a timer for 15 minutes.
- After exactly 15 minutes, turn off the flame, leave the pot closed for another two minutes, and enjoy!
Tip: Instead of the chicken, you can use ground chicken, ground beef, or tofu.
